Madi is a working musician and artist from South Florida who currently resides in Denver, CO. She belongs to two Denver-based projects, Totem Pocket and Majona. Her music can be described as alternative-rock with experimental aspects influenced by shoegaze-inspired, psychedelic sounds. Madi is also a student of jazz bass currently studying at University of Colorado, Denver. Paul Musso, professional jazz guitarist and recognized and renowned professor deems Menendez as, “A promising player, with definite of potential.”
One of her main projects at the moment is Majona, combining her love of indie-rock music and her Cuban-American upbringing to create an alternative indie group. She also helps front Totem Pocket, a nu-gaze group from Denver, CO.
